Anna Kern Anna recently graduated from Texas Christian University with an M.A. in Art History, completing her thesis on Colombian artist Doris Salcedo. She received a B.A. in Communication with minors in Art History and Spanish from Trinity University, where she interned for the curatorial department at the San Antonio Museum of Art.Anna has extensive experience in a variety of curatorial and managerial roles within the art world. She served as the curatorial intern at the Rachofsky Warehouse, creating the bibliography for the exhibition catalogue Geometries On and Off the Grid: Art from 1950 to the Present, edited by Allan Schwartzman. She has also interned for the registrar department at the Rachofsky Warehouse, where she streamlined their inventory system, adding to her previous experience as an art registrar for a prominent Dallas collector. Aside from her registrar work, she additionally served as Previous to graduate school, she was the Assistant Director at Kirk Hopper Fine Art, co-curating exhibitions and acting as the liaison between the gallery and represented artists.Aspiring to enter into the world of art advising, Anna is most interested in the correlation between art and interior spaces, supporting emerging contemporary artists, and promoting engagement with artwork in everyday, public spaces. Anna currently interns part-time for Teriha Art Advisory and the New Art Advisors Alliance.
